It is a matter of days before the Samsung Intensity II is released as the mock up has been displayed for some time at the Best buy displays. Smart phones may be ruling the roost but the fact cannot be denied that feature phones are the bread and butter for the telecommunication companies and it cannot be ignored. The original model must have been a best-seller which has encouraged the house to launch a successor. The handset features a landscape sliding QWERTY, 2-megapixel camera, and Bluetooth with a price tag of $1 and an accompanying contract for two years. The exact date of release is still undecided.

AT&T Captivate Promoted by Samsung .The Motrorola Droid X is being beamed down from every other channel and there is not much being heard about the Samsung Galaxy models. But it is all going to be a thing of the past. After a low key campaign for the Samsung Galaxy S models the corporate house based in South Korea has decided to loosen its strings for an aggressive advertising blitz for its AT&T variant of the handset, the Samsung Captivate. But the focus of the add remains the Samsung brand name and AT&T has been relegated in the background. The theme song revolves around the wonder of Samsung. Smart chaps The South Koreans who ensured that the name Samsung is pushed up front.



Custom made phone for the elderly and the debilitated by Verizon

Verizon is to launch in July 29th a economical phone which has been custom made for the elderly for $40 for a two year period. The product is named Samsung haven. The house which is based in the Basking Ridge New Jersey has revealed the features of the Samsung Haven. It will have a 2.2 inch display which will be easily visible to the elderly and also features an adjustable font size and menu readout functions. These features will make it very user friendly and suited for the elderly. There is an option of Emergency 911 and users can program it for a maximum of three users. It also has a fitness trainer which gives tips for doing stretching exercises, and so also it features music to relieve stress and also an option to add details of allergies and medications.
